Job Abstract

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Respiratory Therapist Manager specializing in pediatrics to join our healthcare team. This role involves leading and managing the pediatric respiratory care department to ensure the highest quality of care for our young patients. The ideal candidate will have a background in pediatric respiratory therapy, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

This leader will join a 250+ bed full service community teaching hospital in the heart of NYC. The facility offers a wide range of both inpatient and outpatient services including cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary, emergency medicine and diagnostic imaging.

This position will report directly to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services and oversee and manage the pediatric respiratory therapy department while providing leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of respiratory therapists. This position will also maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, conduct performance evaluations and monitor unit performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

The Clinical Respiratory Therapist Manager, Pediatrics will ensure the delivery of high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients and stay current with advancements in pediatric respiratory therapy techniques and equipment while assisting in complex cases to provide expert consultation as needed.
