As a Senior Product Designer for Open Banking, you will be expected to utilize your full range of product design skills (interaction design, visual design, design thinking, user research) in developing product experiences across a range of touchpoint by partnering with product owners, technology, and design peers and partners. In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites
- Manage the design, creation, and production of customers experience elements from product concept through completion, including product updates and revisions
- Develop and execute customer experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools including: customer experience brief, site strategy, wireframes or visual mockups, site layouts, site maps, taxonomies navigation schematics, task flows, design briefs, key screens, templates, prototypes
- Review and analyze high profile or complex projects and may lead projects or teams of user centered design specialists
- Develop new research and tests theories that lead to alternative, leading edge design solutions
- Analyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practices
- Exercise independent judgment to guide risk deliverables
- Design, develop, test, and refine prototypes
- Resolve moderately complex issues
- Lead team to meet key milestone deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of business, user, and technical requirements
- Create and monitor schedules to ensure timely effective program execution
- Develop and oversee planning and execution of projects, production schedules, and quality assurance
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the digital and technology development process.
- Familiarity with iterative and agile development processes and basic knowledge of application layer design and front-end code frameworks (React, jQuery, etc.)
- Command of common design tools, most notably Figma, Sketch, and InVision
- Experience with driving a customer experience change and using data and storytelling
- Experience with strategic planning and diagrammatic skills (Information Architecture), low fidelity wireframe production, high-fidelity design comp production, and design interaction specifications
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, communicate effectively and persuasively to convey design solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: product managers, engineers, customers, etc.
- Past success defining, developing and reporting out on measurable customer experience KPIs
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to shape and drive work independently
- Ability to energize and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive and collaborative with proven ability to lead through influence vs. authority
- Experience working effectively within a standards-aligned design environment and knowing when to push design system boundaries as necessary

Pay Range
$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
