Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of the 4SW Oncology nurse manager, assist patient with admission procedure, during transfer procedure, with discharge procedure; provide for patients’ personal hygiene; assist with patients’ excretory needs, meals and in providing for patient safety and comfort measures. Provide clerical support to the AdministrativeNurse of the designated unit.

Salary range: $25.30-$33.35 hourly

Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

· CNA certification, required

· BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required

· Ability to pass an 8 hour computer data entry training course

· Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to delegated nursing, PT/OT, and RT assisted tasks

· Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred

· Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under a heavy workload

CNA experience within 6 months, required; at least 1 year of inpatient CNA experience, preferred
