Overview: As the Development Manager of Individual Giving at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for leading efforts to engage individual donors and manage the organization's social media presence. This role combines fundraising expertise with social media savvy to maximize donor engagement and support our mission to changes lives by unlocking and nurturing human potential for people living with emotional, behavioral or cognitive differences. Reporting to the Regional Director of Development, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships, raising funds, and increasing awareness for our centers located in southeast Pennsylvania, Poconos, New Jersey and New York. Reporting to the Regional Director of Development, you will assist with implementing Devereux’s strategic plan, with a goal to make Devereux, the “charity of choice.” Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is headquartered in Villanova, PA and focuses its efforts on Servant Leadership and delivering the best possible interactive experience to our exceptional employees. Overall, being the Development Manager of Individual Giving offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference, build relationships, and contribute to the success of a mission-driven organization. This position will be hybrid, working from home and also traveling to our centers in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, as needed. This position will be paying in a range, up to $65k commensurate with experience.
In this role you will:
- Lead acquisition, renewal and upgrading of annual giving program.
- Design and execute annual giving campaigns targeting individual donors, utilizing direct mail, email, online platforms, and social media.
- Create personalized cultivation plans, leveraging a variety of communication channels such as email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
- Manage Devereux’s workplace giving campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy to increase the Devereux's online presence and engagement.
- Deliver compelling messages to multiple audiences via many channels that highlights Devereux's impact, stories, and fundraising initiatives.
- Provide excellent stewardship to donors, acknowledging their support and ensuring a high level of donor satisfaction and retention.
- Acts as development liaison to support designated Devereux program.
- Assist members of the regional development team with duties such as advisory board meeting preparation, committee meetings, and special events.
- Oversee third-party fundraising events and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns providing guidance and resources to empower them to plan and execute successful events and campaigns.
