Majestic Steel is excited to add several Customer Experience Specialists to our Team! Our Customer Experience Specialists create a Majestic Experience by utilizing their knowledge of company products and industry information to provide customer support within our sales area! This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a knack for details and thrives in a fast pace environment. This role offers a hybrid work schedule- two days in the office, three days work from home, after successful completion of training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support to Majestic customers
- Collaborate and correspond with Account Executives and all areas of the business
- Administer the quote and sales order entry process
- Monitor orders to provide status updates to Account Executives and customers
- Verify accuracy of all work that is submitted to prevent errors
- Expedite high priority or time sensitive activities as appropriate
- Document all imperative activity in designated CRM system
- Effectively discuss the brand, products and services of the company
- Maintain knowledge of the steel industry based on information distributed internally to provide the highest level of service
- Actively attend and participate in area meetings
- Other job related duties and special projects as assigned
Education, Training and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
- Technologically savvy and experience working with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas with customers and all levels of the organization
- Ability to positively adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment
- Team oriented with a professional, enthusiastic and friendly demeanor
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a continuously changing paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) or more years previous customer support experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience with flat steel products
Additional
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
- Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting.
