Job Title: Master Special Inspector – Nashville, TN
SUMMARY:
Join Our Team as a Master Special Inspector for immediate Building, Transportation, & Infrastructure Projects in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering or Architecture
- 3+ years’ experience inspecting construction work in the state of Tennessee in varied Size and complexity.
- Proficiency with Chapter 17 of the International Building Code
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Currently holds a valid certification in all of the following:
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector or ICC Structural Welding Inspector
- ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Inspector
- ICC Concrete Special Inspector
- ICC Masonry Special Inspector
- Master Special Inspector
- Current training in crucial safety protocols, including fall protection, scaffolding and ladders, work-zone safety.
- Minimum of 10-hour OSHA construction safety certification.
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspection reports promptly and accurately
- Possession of a reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to pursue additional certifications to enhance professional skills and expertise
- Aptitude for collaborative teamwork as well as the ability to work independently when necessary
- Familiarity with relevant construction industry codes and regulations
Here's a breakdown of what we provide:
Hourly Rate: $40 - $55
Location: Nashville Metro - Tennessee
