Job Abstract

Education & Experience: - Three years of increasingly responsible experience, preferably in warehousing, distribution, and stock control in large-quantity food preparation, distribution, and/or service environment. - High school diploma or equivalent - Courses in warehousing are desirable. - Experience in school food service is preferred. - Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License - Riverside County Food Handlers Card - Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by the District’s insurance carrier; all applicable state and federal licensing requirements. - Forklift certification is preferred. - USDA Professional Standards: Maintain a minimum of 10 hours of annual continuing education/training in the areas of Child Nutrition Programs and food safety.
