Job Summary
Under the supervision of SELPA, the DHH/Visually Impaired (VI) Counselor assists students in educational and career planning. The DHH Counselor will assist students with completion of graduation requirements to enable all students to be college and/or career ready. Counselor will coordinate and organize college visits and field trips to explore life careers. Performs other duties connected with the school program as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Possession of a valid Pupil Services Credential in school counseling.
• Bilingual (American Sign Language) highly desirable.
• Prior working experience within the DHH program highly desirable.
