We are seeking a Commercial Loan Doucumentation Specialist II to join our growing team. Responsibilities Responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on complex commercial credit facilities in accordance with Univest lending policies and guidelines Analyze approved loan request to determine the required documents to support the request; interpret the loan purpose, business entity, verify collateral ownership, determine the appropriate method to perfect the Bank’s secured interest in accordance with bank policies and guidelines Create complex commercial loan documents to support the request approved by lender/loan committee timely and accurately to meet scheduled loan closings Proof read loan documents prepared by peers for accuracy and compliance with approved terms and conditions of the loan request Assist in monitoring loan document requests and work with Corporate Banking team to ensure all required information is received prior to preparing and releasing loan documents Assist with proof reading attorney prepared documents for accuracy and compliance with the approved terms and conditions of the loan request. Ensure the documents are consistent with Univest’s loan policies and guidelines. Review requests for customized wording on internal documents for acceptability and make recommendations to Supervisor. Assist in creation of custom documents for new products and complex lending situations Assist other areas of the Bank with various credit support related assignments, which may include Domestic Letters of Credit, preparation of monthly floor plan, etc. as assigned Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Uniform Commercial Code of Business Perform additional duties as assigned HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in commercial loan documentation with advanced knowledge of key commercial and real estate lending concepts and terminology; knowledge of Univest lending policy/guidelines beneficial Ability to analyze and prepare complex Commercial and Real Estate loan documents and make solid independent decisions consistent with Univest’s loan policies and guidelines accurately and without compromise Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task under time constraints with minimal supervision Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and problem solving skills with ability to think “outside the box” when unusual loan requests or situations are presented Advanced PC and word processing skills required to utilize varying proprietary Windows based software applications.
