Mayo Clinic Florida is a major transplant center in the southeast region including, kidney, pancreas, liver, lung, heart, and bone marrow. Approximately 208 renal transplants and 900 renal biopsies are performed annually (80% transplant; 20% native). Additionally, about 400 native biopsy consults are received from clients in Florida and neighboring states. Physicians work in a multi-disciplinary environment with world renowned transplant teams providing the best care and novel therapeutic options for patients.
