Job Abstract

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and develop multi-layered resilient risk platform application to provide bond valuation, forecasting, risk management and scenario analysis for securitized products and collateralized loans. Migrate risk platform away from monolithically approach to distributed technology architecture using Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring boot, AWS cloud, Apache Kafka, Python and Hazelcast cache. Interact with CIB trading desk, Asset wealth management desk, CCB Loss forecast model desk to provide batch analytic workflow related solutions. Performance improvement and parallel processing using multithread and in memory data store to have fast access securities data and scenarios data. Build preparation and application deployment in different lanes using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Jules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Architect, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Architect, or related occupation.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $182,300.00- $215,000.00 per year.
