Job Abstract

Griffin Faculty Physicians seeks one or more interns to work on a variety of projects for our multi-specialty physician group related to population health and medical group management.

Job Responsibilities:
• Support work related to population health, including marketing and outreach efforts.
• Conducts medical chart reviews, under the direction of our care management team, to identify gaps in care.
• Makes outbound calls to patients to address gaps in care and schedule patients for services as needed.
• Support other administrative, business or clinical projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Must be a student (graduate or undergraduate) pursuing a degree in public health, nursing, healthcare management or related field.
• Must have interest in pursuing a career in healthcare management or public health.
• Must be proficient with use
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and with patients by phone.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Travel to and from local offices may be required.
