Job Summary
Performs routine clerical tasks associated with Center for Emergency Preparedness. Prepares routine documents and copies of documents supporting office activities using standard office equipment. Performs record maintenance activities. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or state recognized equivalent; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
One (1) year of experience in a general administrative, customer service or clerical role.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in business administration or related field.
Administrative, customer service or clerical experience in an academic or higher education institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Ability to interact professionally with others, internally and externally.
Ability to comprehend a variety of reference books and manuals including academic-related manuals, processes procedures and Cleveland State University policies and procedures.
Ability to prepare receipts, logs, memos, reports, letters, routine correspondence, and other job-related documents using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style in accordance with the department and CSU standards.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability to record and deliver information, to explain procedures, to follow instructions.
Attention to detail.
