QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

- Minimum of ten (10) years of U.S. or NATO military experience, including service after September 11, 2001.
- Demonstrated experience planning and providing tactical-level staff support to battalion and brigade-level soldiers and their systems (tactical logistics functions include manning, arming, fueling, fixing, moving, and routinely sustaining approximately 500-800 personnel)
- Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity building experience in the last 5 years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one deployment to a combat, peacekeeping, or other contingency operation while serving in a logistics unit or assigned as logistics staff officer.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) cumulative years of U.S. or NATO military experience, including combat arms battalion/brigade staff officer experience on a U.S. or NATO military staff.
- Attainment of military grade of O4 and higher (or NATO equivalent).
- Battalion and/or brigade staff experience while deployed to a combat, peacekeeping, or other contingency operation.
- Regional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is self-managed and works at the direction of the government and is directly related to the business operation supporting the customer’s objectives.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
