Job Overview
The Project Coordinator works closely with the Lab founder and leadership team to provide administrative and program management support for the Innovation Lab. They support the Lab development and research efforts leading up to and through the launch of the Lab - as well as the work of the Lab with partners, sponsors and other individuals and organizations that will participate in Lab programming.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the organization and execution of the program
- Provide event and workshop planning and preparation (for virtual and in-person events).
- Engage with Lab ecosystem partners and innovation founders to plan activities, meetings and events that accelerate the success of the Lab and participating entities.
- Support with calendar and logistics management for mentors, partners, founders and general programming
- Help with research and develop ecosystem analysis, best practices and curriculum of the program
- Represent the Lab in relevant community and ecosystem events
Work Interactions
Reporting to the Center Administrator and receiving supervision from Lab leadership, the Innovation Lab Project Coordinator cross the country.
This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience in fast-paced project or program management focused position
- Demonstrated interest in innovation through technology, research, or new program development
- Experience in event planning and event logistics
- Strong proficiency in online productivity and data management tools and applications
- Comfort with a variety of responsibilities, proactive, and the ability to jump in without being asked and a “no task is too small or too big” attitude
- Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and collaborate, especially on multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and high level of empathy
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational or professional background in child development, psychology, public health or similar
- Background knowledge and demonstrated interest in these content areas
- Proficiency working with “no code” and automation tools - such as Airtable, Notion, Zapier, HubSpot and other project management tools
