Agile Process Improvement Coach
Key Role:
Drive operational excellence and foster continuous improvement within the Analytics Office. Coach cross-functional teams on agile methodologies, lean management principles, and product management skills. Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization. Demonstrate critical thinking, strong organizational skills, and a passion for operational excellence. Enhance operational reporting for teams by developing KPIs and metrics, gathering and visualizing data, and providing clear feedback. Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders to achieve departmental goals. Proactively monitor team progress, identify risks, and provide recommendations. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in process improvement, lean management, or agile methodologies, and driving organizational change
5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment
3+ years of experience leveraging operational data to drive strategic initiatives and process improvements, including data analysis and interpretation
Experience in project management, product road mapping, and agile delivery software and tools, such as Aha and JIRA
Knowledge of product management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Ability to build strong relationships and influence without authority
Ability to query and report operational metrics from multiple sources and develop data visualizations and presentations for leadership
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with IT project management, product management, or agile coaching, or 10+ years of experience in IT project management, product management, or agile coaching in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in Lean portfolio management
Experience with data and analytics tools, such as Databricks and Power BI
Experience leading and running large workshops and training seminars
Experience developing and implementing efficient and repeatable processes
Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Masters degree in Data Science, IT or similar field
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
