Job Summary
This position will require the job candidate to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of building equipment, which are used to support critical data center operations. The job will require working closely with third party vendors that perform specialized services to maintain critical systems, such as UPS, switch gear, chillers, air handlers, cooling towers and processed water systems. The job will also require a full understanding and ability to operate the building’s automated systems. These systems include the Building Management Systems (BMS) and the Electrical Switchgear Automated System (ESAS).
Essential Duties
- Perform weekly preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the work order system
- Work alone or with other technicians to complete all assigned work to the highest standards
- Responsible for coordinating with and assisting third party vendors when on site
- Successfully complete required job training
- Participate on week-end rotation coverage
- Follow all OSHA and TJX requirements pertaining to health and safety
- Successfully complete all required safety training
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance
Preferred Education/Experience
- Trade or technical school graduate
- Electrician Journeyman License OSHA 10
- OSHA 10
- Refrigeration Technician License per State of Ohio
- Universal Refrigerant Certification
