Essential Functions
Performs duties of security operations analyst as required; receives, screens and takes appropriate action on all alerts to include CCTV, telephone and any other system managed or monitored by the security operations center; determines the nature and location of the issue; determines priority and escalates matters accordingly to the appropriate group (Security, Operations, Management, Police, EMS, etc.) in a clear, concise, organized and understandable manner.
Supervises and directs the activities of assigned staff; coordinates, prioritizes and assigns tasks and projects; tracks and reviews work progress and activities; participates in the recruitment and selection of staff; undertakes disciplinary action as required; conducts performance evaluations; coordinates scheduling of staff to ensure proper operational coverage.
Oversees operations to identify needs; ensures compliance with policies and procedures; trains staff as required.
Ensures that all equipment and systems are operating and functioning within defined parameters; maintains and updates systems and troubleshoots equipment and applications to identify operational problems and issues; reports and oversees technical repairs.
Monitors CCTV systems; maintains video storage and records; prepares copies and reports as requested per wpg retention polices.
Assists Director with the development of goals, objectives, policies and procedures; ensures compliance with and effectively implements policies and procedures; attends and conducts meetings and training sessions as required.
Assists property teams with the review of reports filed by security and mall center management ensuring that all relevant CCTV footage and other materials that may be under the review of the security operations center are delivered accurately and timely and forwards to appropriate group.
Evaluates new technologies and adapts existing services and procedures to incorporate more efficient and effective business practices.
Assist property teams and legal when requested by local, state or national law enforcement to produce CCTV footage or reports pursuant to valid subpoenas or search warrants; archive produced material appropriately.

Qualifications, Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, college level coursework in management or a related field is highly desirable.
Required Years of Experience: 5+ years general security administration, security operations center or technical analyst roles.
Technical certifications or experience with Avigilon and Building Engines platforms is not necessary but desirable.
