The Senior Analyst, ESG Reporting will be an important member the LS&Co. Controllership team, reporting to the ESG Financial Reporting, Senior Manager. You're looking for ways to help our team become more efficient. You will assist the Senior Manager in developing ESG reporting integrity and assurance including ESG data, goals, and KPIs. You will also have responsibilities around the integrity of evidence for reported ESG data, working to attain reliable reported data in preparation for any additional assurance (internal or external audit). This role is targeting candidates in the Bay Area, but is open to exceptional remote candidates who able to work West Coast hours.

Assist Senior Manager in data integrity efforts and process improvements for ESG data reported in the annual sustainability report and other ad hoc reports, alongside Internal Audit and Legal.
Help to design, perform, and collaborate with other important workstreams to complete tie outs and controls around sustainability reporting.
Work cross-functionally to understand and communicate the financial and non-financial risks around ESG issues and opportunities.
Maintain current knowledge of reporting best practices, ESG business and regulatory trends affecting LS&Co. and its vendors, suppliers and customers.
Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of existing controls and help to design new processes for ESG reporting.
About You
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
2+ years' experience from a Big 4 public accounting firm with technical background
5+ years progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
Experience around ESG issues including metrics and due diligence.
Familiar with disclosure framework guidance including SASB, GRI, TCFD & UN SDGs.
CPA preferred.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $77,300 - $120,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
