About the Team
You will be part of the Pottery Barn Kids Customer Relationship Marketing team responsible for managing and optimizing the advertising investment across our paid marketing channels – Digital, Catalog, and Email – to maximize sales. Our job is also to ensure we are innovating and executing marketing campaigns across programs and channels that drive new customer acquisition as well as increased mindshare and wallet share with our existing customer base.

As an Email Marketing Senior Analyst, you will focus on driving sales by helping optimize the email program. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the email circulation plan, analyzing performance to identify trends and opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure timely and flawless email sends. A successful candidate should have experience in marketing and possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail. You must have the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing multi-channel retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for weekly and ad-hoc email reporting, including customer engagement metrics, trends, test results, and campaign performance with strategic analysis of performance data gleaning key insights and recommendations
- Maintain key documents including email circulation plan, weekly Trigger performance, and more
- Partner with cross-functional teams to review email campaigns for accuracy prior to launch
- Prepare seasonal/monthly performance recaps and present to brand partners & leadership
- Assist in managing monthly financial forecast and accruals
- Proactively work with team members, email deployment team, brand, finance, customer analytics, and other cross-functional groups
- Analyze competitive marketplace and follow Marketing trends
Criteria
- BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in Digital, Email, or E-Commerce Marketing
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong interest in Email
- Ability to lead projects proactively
- Analytical problem-solver with insatiable curiosity
- The ability to see trends and to extract actionable insights from data to drive results
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize, work on multiple projects, and be flexible
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to build effective relationships within the team and with cross functional partners & vendors
- Experience with a web analytics system is a plus

The expected starting pay range for this position is $90,000 – $94,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
