We are searching for a dedicated and passionate individual who is ready to join us as we continue to build strong momentum and growth in the wellness sector. The Wellness Sales Manager is an experienced and entrepreneurial leader that will build a pipeline of new business opportunities. This leader will also identify key trends by industry and region to determine new sales opportunities. She/he is responsible for signing new businesses within a given industry for both new customers and select existing customers. The individual must know the market and become an expert in and a representative of a healthy lifestyle in order to sell wellness services, programming and group events. This role will be essential in building strong customer and business relationships. It is crucial that the candidate thrives in our entrepreneurial company culture where change is constant, growth is immense, and opportunities abound.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business industry and companies and buying tendencies
Develop a new business development plan designed for new business acquisition in the Los Angeles basin and beyond
Proactively solicit new and existing accounts/customers in defined geographic region
Research and probe business objectives whereby wellness services can be presented along with conference and meeting solutions surrounding property assets and services
Create specific personalized solutions for each prospective business lead to create differentiation in business solutions that stand out and create a position of strength over competitors
Negotiate terms and conditions of individual business with strategic approach and fiscal awareness to maximize customer needs and balance profitability
Facilitate the sales process from start to finish by generating and confirming group and corporate contracts that ensure the Center for Health & Wellbeing budget and revenue targets are achieved
Communicate group details and work closely with Conference Services and operational departments to setup hotel for successful program operation and execution
Utilizing empowered authority and judgment alongside divisional and hotel policy, to adjust pricing where appropriate, and recommend group concessions as needed to secure group business in support of the Center for Health & Wellbeing
Utilize Various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of Center for Health & Wellbeing.
Educate sales and conference services personnel to extend the sales resources and reach of wellness offerings company-wide, sales developments, prospecting projects, customer events and as a function of group sales business development.
Follow up on all business inquiries and leads and qualify business to generate revenue including but not limited to keynotes, workshops, group activities, energy breaks, private electives, wellness kitchen catering, and wellness kitchen private events.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals and prospecting activities
Conducts webinars, site inspections, and tours of Center for Health & Wellbeing facilities and offerings with methods that connect and resonate with clients leading to sales conversions
Develop individual accounts using information provided by sources such as, but not limited to, the Worldwide Sales Office, Strategic Partner Program, industry contacts, and market intelligence
Conduct all sales related interactions with the highest level of professionalism while maintaining specified Four Seasons standard
Event Operation Responsibilities:

Checks in with on-site contact a minimum of twice per day during the onsite contacts stay at the hotel.
Schedule time with Executive Director, General Manager and/or Hotel Manager to touch group and introduce them self
Performs networking sales activities such as entertainment, personal notes and phone calls, and insures relationship extension is favorable leading to recommend and referral of business opportunities
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
2-3 years of hotel sales experience, wellness background a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ideally Salesforce / Golden Sales & Catering
High degree of independent judgment, entrepreneurial thought, and discretion on decision making
Able to multitask and prioritize workload and projects simultaneously and efficiently in a fast paced environment
Strong leadership, time management, administrative, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the sales operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service
The ideal applicant would have a strong knowledge of the complexities of selling and competing with other luxury hotels and resorts and entities in the luxury wellness space
The Location For This Position Is:
Westlake Village / Los Angeles Area, CA
Position is on property with flexibility for remote days weekly - must be able to drive to the hotel when needed.
