The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides services and leadership to 20 public school districts and 10 charter schools. SBCEO offers programs and services in support of nearly 70,000 children throughout Santa Barbara County - from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Santa Maria.

The Santa Barbara County Education Office is seeking a human resources professional for the position of Human Resources Specialist, who will provide daily support for our human resources functions. Come join our dynamic Human Resources team! There is currently one (1) full-time vacancy, 40 hours/week, M-F that will be based out of our Santa Barbara Office. General Description Under general supervision, perform a variety of highly specialized human resources functions. This position is responsible for the daily support of a wide variety of human resources functions related to the recruitment, selection, employment and retention of staff.
