Primary Responsibilities:
Bozzuto is seeking a self-motivated data-enthusiast who is inspired to drive data solutions to maximize impact throughout the organization. The Database Engineer will manage real estate software updates, innovation initiatives, carry out quality assurance testing, manage integrations, reporting and implementations.
As the Database Engineer your primary responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the access and security of the core property management systems (PMS) for Yardi, Real Page, and One Site. This includes users, menus, and permissions.
- Manage the testing and implementation of system upgrades and plug ins.
- Responsible for all system integration setup, maintenance, and communication.
- Facilitate property data uploads for takeovers and acquisitions.
- Using SQL, scope and create custom reporting within the core PMS systems.
- Manage PPI compliance and data privacy requests as it relates to core PMS systems.
What You Bring to Us:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business information technology or a related field preferred OR 3-5 years’ equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in the multifamily real estate industry preferred with emphasis on knowledge of various multifamily software applications (Yardi preferred).
- Including building ETL pipelines, on Yardi platform.
- And SQL Server and analysis services.
- Analytical skills capable of extracting insights and value from raw data sources
- Experience completing Y2Y conversions preferred.
- Proven success in managing multiple projects on schedule and within budget
- Proven success in crafting and implementing innovative ideas and concepts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop concise and on-brand messaging.
- Ability to work autonomously and to effectively manage and interact with customers and team members.
