In addition, you will develop, advocate, and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas to achieve short- and long-term savings targets. You will be accountable for overseeing the category spend and accountable to deliver on cost savings goals and objectives. Essential Job Functions
Leads the development, implementation and alignment of global sourcing strategies and global supplier network capabilities for key labor suppliers to achieve business objectives, and the development and execution of a category/subcategory sourcing strategy. Negotiates long-term contracts to ensure optimum cost and reliable supply as well as the planning of procurement activities and ensuring that they are properly carried out and in line with procurement time and cost expectations. Leads the development of requests for proposals, issues requests for quotes, and conducts sourcing efforts to include high dollar source selections across multiple sites. Maintains proper relationships with supply chain, operations, maintenance, and engineering and technical services to better understand their requirements and priorities. Additionally, the role is responsible for coordinating monthly to quarterly (as required) supplier meetings with key stakeholders. Ensures team monitors labor markets, conducts market intelligence, and utilizes the obtained information to optimize savings and plant run rate. Ensures identification of continuous improvement and innovation opportunities, in compliance with Olin's organizational developmental goals and champions the improvement, training and usage of Olin’s Strategic Sourcing Process. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree - ; Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering preferred; Master's Degree - preferred 5 years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting 2 years of people leadership experience Ability to manage the strategic sourcing process globally, along with the negotiation of strategic supplier agreements to maximize value and drive cost reduction Demonstrated ability to quickly assess key points and communicate clearly and concisely to key internal and external stakeholders as well as senior leadership Must possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills as well as demonstrate a high attention to detail, strong decision making with the ability to develop creative solutions to mitigate problems.
