JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Public Works Director, performs a wide variety of technical and analytical analysis, professional administration and management support activities for the Water and Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department. May supervise or oversee staff under the division and/or programs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The regular work schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, but may include some weekends for special events. Work is primarily performed in an office which is busy, oriented to public service and subject to occasional work interruptions. Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office and moderately loud when in the field. Occasional attendance at meetings before or after regular work hours is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
