POSITION TITLE: Treasurer
POSITION PURPOSE: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Treasurer plays a key role in supporting various key Treasury processes and initiatives. Responsible for global foreign exchange management as well as providing back-up support for corporate cash and investment management areas. The Treasurer also works on projects that will include our banks and financial partners, our domestic and international Finance operations. Work collaboratively on all projects with other Finance and Operations functions in an effort to build the Treasury infrastructure in a growing business while still responding to daily needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Strategy - Establish performance benchmarks and reporting on hedging effectiveness. Maintain relationship with trading counterparties and ensure optimal trading executions. Build and maintain project alliances across the Finance organization to identify change impact on business processes and provide Treasury subject matter expertise. Liaise with External Reporting on footnotes and disclosures for Treasury sections of all SEC filings. Participate in projects related to the optimization of cash and working capital management, including global DSO monitoring. Policy and Procedure - Liaise with internal Finance business partners to develop and implement a FX balance sheet and economic forecasting process. Develop and maintain Treasury policies and procedures. Develop and prepare Treasury reports for management. Track and prepare management reporting for company's stock repurchases. Provide back up support for corporate cash activities. Build and maintain project alliances across the Finance organization to identify change impact on business processes and provide Treasury subject matter expertise. Liaise with External Reporting on footnotes and disclosures for Treasury sections of all SEC filings. Ensure global compliance with all financial and non-financial debt covenants. Coordinate & review covenant certificate preparation and other bank deliverables. Assist with ancillary banking relationships and data collection (merchant card interbank rates, international charges, e-commerce and sales audit needs). Coordinate with internal and third parties with to respect to investments, rebalancing and payment methods related to the DCP/SERP/401k plans. Monitor and coordinate with Tax and Finance teams on Intercompany payments & capitalization of foreign and domestic subsidiaries. Assist with special projects related to acquisitions, dispositions, and ongoing Joint Ventures. Responsible for creating and managing the forecasting process for foreign exchange exposure by legal entity and currency on a monthly basis. Responsible for compliance of internal control procedures over Treasury functions. Maintain global check signing authority. Participate in or lead the implementation of various Treasury systems. Directly supervise Corporate Cash Manager and Risk Management Department. Risk - Develop and implement global strategies and tactics to manage currency risk exposures (FAS133/ASC815 & FAS52/ASC830). Manage counter-party risk exposure, propose hedging transactions, and maintain hedging documentations. Manage the company's global risk insurance programs including worker's compensation actuarial valuations & estimates, D&O renewals, negotiation of renewals, identification of opportunities for premium reductions, identify gaps in coverage and review medical self-insurance actuarial reports (IBNR).
