Essential Job Functions
- Support financial analysis and budgeting activities related to IT procurement, including cost forecasting and variance analysis.
- Assist in the procurement process for IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, assess their offerings, and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Create purchase orders, track orders, and manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to receipt.
- Assist in the procurement process for IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Assist in optimizing procurement processes and implementing efficiency improvements.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and basic understanding of financial concepts is a plus.
Pay range for this position is $25/hr.
