Senior Director –Florham Park, NJ –hybrid –3 days in office: The Senior Director, Schizophrenia Adjunct, LAI, and Future Indications Lead will prepare go-to-market plans for a novel schizophrenia treatment in the United States across multiple indications and potential patient populations. Primary responsibilities include leading: (1) defining the opportunities and sharpening the competitive value proposition for a nearer-term launch, (2) establishing and validating the opportunity for longer-horizon launches in partnership with key R&D stakeholders (3) positioning the products and creating compelling brand stories and evidence plans, (4) career development of a team of marketers that will grow as the product progresses through key milestones towards launch. Reporting to the Schizophrenia Planning Lead, the Adj/LAI/Future Indications Lead will also co-lead the cross-functional Integrated Brand Team (IBT), collaborating with multiple teams, including R&D, Market Access, and Patient Services to drive both launch planning and execution. Key Job Responsibilities:
Develop and refine enhanced value propositions for expansion indications of a novel schizophrenia treatment
Lead development of the strategic planning for the US adjunct and LAI indications
Lead commercial evaluations of additional potential indication across multiple potential patient populations and sub-populations
Design and shape evidence-generation plans in partnership with R&D colleagues
Participate in cross-functional governance meetings, including launch prep and follow-up activities
Develop compelling presentations to convey strategies to broad sets of stakeholder audiences, including senior executives, cross-functional leadership teams, and cross-functional partners for understanding and support of launch and development plans
Management of a growing team of direct and expanded reports and an increasing budget as the product nears launch
Qualifications
BA/BS required;MBA or PhD preferred
At least 10 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience, or a combination of product development and marketing experience;psychiatry or mental healthcare-focused marketing or consulting experience strongly preferred
Significant experience with pharmaceutical product development, either new products or new indications
Experience in creating product development plans in partnership with R&D
Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills
A successful track record of ascending responsibility
