Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Finance Manager to support the operational execution of some of our key initiatives. Reporting to the Global Revenue Operations (GRO) Finance Director, this position which will play a critical role in the planning and execution of our GTM initiatives. While the focus of this role will be on ensuring the successful execution of GTM initiatives, additional strategic work supporting the GRO organization will be required. Starting as a team of one, the ideal candidate relishes the opportunity of rolling up their sleeves to build a strong foundation for the future.
The right candidate for this role will be a highly strategic business partner. They will work collaboratively with other functions within and outside finance and adhere to their fiduciary duties as a member of the finance organization. Outstanding knowledge of financial planning, modeling, GTM Operations and strategic planning will be required to perform the role successfully.
The position is posted in Bay Area but can be flexible for remote work from any city in the United States.
Responsibilities
COO Finance lead for Management Reporting (MR)
Identify operational impacts of new business initiatives on COO Finance processes
Work closely with COO Finance leads to gather requirements to ensure continuity of management reporting
Drive communication across COO Finance around impact of various new business initiatives
Collaborate with technical finance teams to ensure requirements are implemented as requested
Drive recommendations to COO Finance org leveraging your financial analysis
COO Finance representative for Offering Readiness Team (ORT)
Collaborate with Core Finance, Business Architecture, and technical teams in support of MR and ORT
Participate in continuous improvement of COO Finances processes
Represent COO Finance to ensure communication around various initiatives is provided to key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor in Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plus
Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience with finance, business operations or business analysis background
Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with key sales functions and sales methodologies
Strong understanding of GTM operations and processes
Detail oriented with the ability to communicate the appropriate level of detail, depending on audience
Experience working as part of a global team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
Articulate and concise with strong communication and influencing skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of Anaplan, Power BI, SFDC and other financial systems
Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company or digital business support is a plus

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $108,800 and $176,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
