Position Summary:
The Director of Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success by identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that will enhance the community position while also managing the community public image and brand. Provide and implement comprehensive plans that generate new revenue through referrals that convert to move-ins and enhance the positive image of the Kisco community and the Kisco brand in the surrounding community. Conduct Business Development activities with community and organizational leaders and identify and develop new business opportunities in a senior housing environment while upholding the mission and values of Kisco.
This key leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful partnership strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for building meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships.

Responsibilities:
Partnership Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic partnership plan that aligns with the company's overall business goals.
- Develop strategic partners at both a national and local level
- Identify and prioritize potential partners based on market trends, industry analysis, and the company's strategic direction.
- Lead negotiations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements and contracts
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure partnership agreements align with company policies and standards
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement.
- Initiate and foster new relationships with key industry players, influencers, and potential collaborators.
Drive Qualified Referrals:
- Responsible for generating community referrals to meet sales targets
- Responsible for promoting the Kisco community vision to key connectors and influencers to generate new inquiries
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing and Operations, to ensure seamless integration of partnerships into overall business strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance to internal teams on maximizing partnership value.
Community Relations and Branding:
- Is a spokesperson for Kisco Principles, Values and Beliefs in the local community and in all interactions with families, guests, prospects and the general public
- Build and maintain a positive brand image in local market
Performance Analysis:
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of partnerships
- Provides timely reporting of the community relations and sales activities as requested
Miscellaneous:
- Assists in enhancing the Kisco community’s image by attending various industry and local community and senior organization networking meetings. Makes presentations as appropriate
- Creates, implements and effectively manages the “Business Development” plans and budgets
- Assists with special marketing events
- Attends weekly sales meeting and quarterly marketing calls
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree.
· 2 + years of proven experience in strategic partnership development
· Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
· Proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Strong communication skills with the ability to relate well to others and to connect and build relationships
· Excellent closing abilities with the ability to identify and use a variety of closing methods to advance the sale and remain aligned with the customer
· Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing difficult situations and finding effective solutions
· Experience and expertise with technology systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and lead tracking software
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
