Job Abstract

Assist Nurse Manager in managing the delivery of patient care for an assigned unit/area on designated shift. Uses the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit

Required Experience:

3-5 years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership and management ability.

Current registration in New York State as an RN Licensure required.

One year supervisory experience required.

Certification/Licensure:

-Specialty Certification (CPAN) preferred or within 6 months of hire.

-TCAR and NIHSS preferred or within 6 months of hire.

-Previous PACU experience preferred .ICU experience required

-BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
-Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

Education Requirement:

BSN degree required. Graduate degree preferred.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certification/Licensure:

Salary Range: $55.849/hr - $64.105/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
