Our U.S. GPS digital practice combines an understanding of the public sector’s diverse mission needs with private sector leading practices. We respond to each client’s issues by bringing together highly skilled professionals across our Consulting, Assurance, Tax and Strategy and Transactions service lines. This integrated approach provides the support and flexibility to meet the unique requirements of our clients. ?
You will join a talented group of professionals who are advising U.S. federal agencies with digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, technology effectiveness, digital architecture, program integration, audit readiness and financial management, to name only a few. As a member of our GPS Digital team, you will help our clients envision, design, and implement a range of high-impact digital solutions and services involving mobile technologies, customer experience, analytics, content management, cloud technologies and other services. In addition, you will work with a global team of digital practitioners on innovative technologies and help bring those solutions to market with our customers. ?
Your key responsibilities
As a UiPath Infrastructure Senior, you will be responsible for supporting your team members with responsible for designing and implementing a secure, robust, and scalable UiPath environment within AWS, as well as developing automation workflows to streamline CISA's processes. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:
- Implement automated processes using UiPath to replace manual processing where necessary.
- Work in conjunction with the project team to define requirements for automation, conduct ROI, and work through the project lifecycle to ensure successful implementation
- Contribute to the designing of automation workflows using UiPath
- Verify the automation by performing unit tests and ensuring reliability, efficiency, and maintainability
- Architect, deploy, and oversee CISA's UiPath Orchestrator within AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Design network architecture specifically for UiPath deployments that involve load balancers, VPCs, subnets, and security configurations.
- Construct and manage pipelines for UiPath automation deployments. • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
- Align infrastructure development with CISA’s automation objectives, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Design RPA solutions using UiPath to enhance CISA’s operational processes. • Convert business requirements into technical solutions and create workflow documentation.
- Implement Ai/ML integrations within UiPath for cognitive automation enhancements. • Perform continuous performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of CISA’s UiPath environment.
- Serve as a technical lead, providing mentorship in AWS and UiPath best practices to the engineering team.
- Support business development activities for digital opportunities, including capture management, client presentations and proposal support
In addition to your client responsibilities, you will also be expected to fulfil senior-level responsibilities within the firm. EY senior support people-related initiatives, including recruiting events and interview nights. Seniors are also expected to support and participate in internal, firm activities, including training programs and courses to stay current on training requirements and continuously improve technical skills. Lastly, you will be expected to understand and follow all workplace policies and procedures, including all applicable Independence policies. ?
Skills and attributes for success
- Previous exposure to technology consulting, and a keen interest in advising the US government and Public Sector
- Strong communication skills, and business and technology acumen, and have a passion for delivering value to our clients
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher, which will be driven by the engagement requirement
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud architecture with a focus on AWS and a solid understanding of RPA infrastructure.
- At least 3 years of experience in RPA development and workflow design, preferably with UiPath.
- at least 3 years of Kubernetes management experience.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing secure and scalable cloud infrastructures and developing high-value RPA solutions.
- They will be instrumental in advancing CISA’s digital transformation initiatives through strategic automation and cloud infrastructure optimization.
- Ability to analyze complicated systems, deduce complex business, systems, and process issues and drive to resolution.
- Must be able to work in-person in the greater Washington, DC as needed
Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location office. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. Candidates should be willing to travel 20 – 30% or more
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, particularly those relevant to EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and familiarity with containerization
- Expertise in the installation, configuration, and management of the UiPath Automation Suite.
- Proficiency in network and IT security principles applicable to RPA infrastructures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an aptitude for project management
- Experience executing project plans on large, complex engagements from analysis through implementation
- Expertise in developing written and visual communication products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with clients and identify engagement follow-on opportunities

What we offer

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $92,600 to $169,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $111,100 to $192,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
