• Manage watsonx.data overall technical product strategy from a product management standpoint, which includes SaaS
• Maintain, prioritize, and advocate the product strategy and roadmap
• Gather customer feedback, identify market opportunities, and define and prioritize features/capability requirements
• Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases and successful outcomes and leverage deep technical expertise to prioritize and set product requirements and direction
• Work closely with engineering, design, research, business development, and sales to bring products to market
• Coordinate across relevant IBM product teams to establish product integrations and dependencies
• Track and document product requirements delivery and identify blockers/risks
• Uncover and mitigate any risk that threatens market adoption of product releases
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
• Maintain SaaS Business Plan - Background on data and AI strategy, concepts, key trends, and competitors
- Extensive product management experience driving considerable growth for data and AI solutions
- Knowledge about IBM Data and AI products, technology, and customers - Experience in product roles such as Product Manager, Solution Architect, or Technical Sales Consultant
- Deep understanding of Data Management, Data Security, and Data Sharing in the context of diverse data stores (SQL and NoSQL databases, including vector databases)
- Domain expertise in working with diverse data architectures and distributed data management such as Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Databases
- Established knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms. Either with experience and certifications in using the platform or with experience actively managing an AWS or Azure environment
- Understanding of the IBM Cloud platform
- Experience with managing Cloud operations and understanding Cloud economics and compliance
- Strong relationship building skills
- Experience with Project Management and end-to-end product delivery
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for client/market needs and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
