The Opportunity
This is a hybrid role.
As the Strategic Space Planner within the Space Planning and Design team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives to optimize our global real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Global Space Planning and Design, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement real estate strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans. The Strategic Space Planner is a professional with excellent data analytics, organizational, and business relationship skills. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage differing needs of the business, and be able to adapt easily to change.
Your role:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support the execution of real estate initiatives and drive successful outcomes.
- Engage with team leads to develop solutions for respective workplace and workflows.
- Interface with HR/Finance and Workplace Managers at all levels to gather and validate headcount growth projections and all programmatic space requirements.
- Develop and implement an annual strategic plan for the real estate portfolio, including specific objectives, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
- Document business requirements and translate them to occupancy planning and scenario plans to maximize efficiency and foster innovation.
- Help create space planning and change management policies and implement.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of real estate strategies and initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to drive performance.
- Manage the preparation and presentation of comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Review New Hire process regularly and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary to improve customer experience.
- Comply with all Nutanix policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics, and business practice.
What you'll bring:
- 8-10 years of experience in occupancy planning, data management, CAD/CAFM Systems
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide a solution.
- Strategic Planning Expertise: Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive real estate strategic plans, including setting clear objectives, defining actionable strategies, and establishing measurable KPIs to drive results.
- Strong Data and Reporting Skills: Proficiency in data management, analysis, and reporting tools, with the ability to create and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track portfolio performance and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, legal, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment of real estate strategies with broader organizational goals and objectives.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, findings, and recommendations clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactiveness to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt strategies and tactics based on changing market conditions and organizational needs.

- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with little to no supervision.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to use Microsoft Office, Google Apps and AutoCAD.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $106,240 and $212,880/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
