Counter Job Description

• Welcomes customers to showroom
• Answer incoming calls and responds to incoming email and internet requests
• Answers questions and advises residential and commercial customers in selection of all product lines
• Answers reception calls and forwards to the appropriate person/department
• Aids in reception/admin functions including but not limited to filing for the Service & PM departments, mail, customer follow ups
• Accurately identifies and measures products
• Prepares OTC and Nav quotes for residential/commercial customers following pricing parameters
• Follows up with customer on quotes
• Manage sales orders to completion with customer
• Responsible for receiving accurate payments from customers
• Contact vendors for best pricing, specs and lead times
• Manage Bid Book (entering new bids, updating bids upon revision, updating won status)
• Manage and maintain current job files
• Maintains a clean and orderly showroom
• Maintain literature
• Assist customers to load purchased materials into customer's vehicle
• Needs to be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
