The Technology Consulting practice works with clients to analyze, formulate, design, mobilize and drive strategic transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing strategic challenges and opportunities surrounding business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation. Technology Change Delivery Overview
Technology Change Delivery (TCD) is part of EY’s Global Technology Consulting competency, ?providing technology and agile transformation management services to clients with speed. TCD is comprised of 3 main competencies:
1) Agile Transformation: Agile Transformation provides customer-centric Agile transformation services by supporting leaders with designing, planning and executing their value delivery needs
2) Transformation Management (TMO): TMO helps clients to structure and govern transformation programs to achieve desired outcomes and provide business value
3) Project Management as a Service (PMaaS): PMaaS supports change delivery with experienced practitioners serving as Project Managers and Scrum Masters
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in the Technology Change Delivery practice, you will be responsible for managing technology solutions for a diverse set of financial services clients. This role is accountable for building business and driving thought leadership for our clients. You are also responsible for managing engagements and developing high-performing teams to drive maximum value to our clients. Senior managers are expected to work across accounts to build and maintain trusted client relationships and are experienced in driving sales in the market.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide high-quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work
- Manage team performance and coach team members as they support engagement deliverables
- Leading engagement economics and service quality
- Help recruit, develop, and retain Technology Change Delivery (TCD) professionals through coaching and mentoring
- Act as representative of the FSO and Technology Consulting practice to external audiences
- Perform job responsibilities either in person, virtual or hybrid as required
- Travel in accordance with client and other travel obligations
- Be at client office or EY office 2-3 days[SER1] [LB2] [SD3] per week
Skills and attributes for success
- Domain experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, and/or Wealth and Asset Management
- Experience in building strong teams with a solid understanding of technology program and project management agile delivery management and IT change
- Lead, manage, and motivate diverse teams of professionals with different backgrounds
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Project Online, Jira, Jira Align, Azure DevOps
- Experience building dashboards in PowerBi or Tableau
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities, and tight deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Previous Big 4 or experience or equivalent
To qualify for the role you must have
Background:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance, Project/Business Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of post-bachelor's work experience (or 8 years for Master’s degree)
- Minimum of 6 years must be in relevant work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services
Functional & Technical Skillset:
- Experience in roadmap development, project planning (while aligning to overall vision), milestone & dependency identification
- Understanding of the current IT environment and industry trends to identify the engagement and client service issues
- Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance and management discipline
- Experience leading large scale, global and transformative programs
- Experience in program portfolio delivery inclusive of resource alignment, governance methodology, program operating model initialization, dependency management among multiple workstreams
Consulting & Sales Skillset:
- Ability to act as day-to-day client contact on the project engagement; and deliver executive-level presentations that drive actions and decisions
- Experience in communicating technical study conclusions through written reports and presentations, using tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio/Project
- Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction to a team
- Go-to-market experience and proven ability to generate new or additional sales
- Ability to identify opportunities and help generate sell-on work during client engagements by understanding a range services and offerings
- Experience in creating points of view on relevant industry trends, solutions, methodologies, and analytical frameworks and tools as well as participation in external marketing activities (publication or speaking event)

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $163,400 to $373,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $196,100 to $424,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
