Job Abstract

The Medical Staff Coordinator provides a broad range of support for the Medical Staff, Administration and Management to meet the needs of the medical staff. Accountable for a professional level of interdepartmental and medical staff interaction as well as accurate maintenance of departmental records and confidential physician data and hospital correspondence. Exercises independent judgment and discretion and demonstrates responsibility while respecting patients' rights. Works under minimal supervision.

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Medical Staff Services Sciences.
• 3 years Experience in a medical staff office or hospital setting.
• Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPSC) upon hire
