As the Perioperative Services Nurse Educator, this qualified individual will be responsible for developing educational programs for surgical services, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting with improving patient safety and overall quality. Further responsibilities include developing educational programs and trainings, collaborating with peers, reporting to the department director, and working to achieve goals that benefit the Perioperative Services Department as a whole.

Qualifications include Operating Room experience coupled with experience as an educator, charge nurse, or preceptor. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a Master’s degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field being a huge plus!
