To assist with the daily accounting needs of the Live Operations department. The Live Accounting Clerk main role is to process all Breeder, Pullet and Broiler settlements, along with all invoices and vendor payments. This role will assist Live Support team with the day-to-day operations of the department including but not limiting to with file management, compliance, data management and reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Collect, reconcile, and process Breede... more detailsr, Pullet and Broiler settlements to include additional miscellaneous grower payments. Communicate with Growers on any issues relating to payment or settlement paperwork. Accurately and efficiently enter invoices from our various vendors in Live Accounting Software. Enter Breeder and Pullet transactions into Live Accounting Software according to Flock Technicians communication and bird movement schedules. Run and distribute reports related to settlements, costs and grower performance. Provide Accounting required live data to reconcile period end. Communicate with Accounting on any discrepancies with invoices and payment needs. Create new farms throughout the accounting system and Live Support filing system. Maintain and order Live Support Teams supplies for day-to-day functionality. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/ A EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to department staff. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel and Word. Basic knowledge of database software is needed for this role. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have current vehicle operator's license.
