The team plays a critical role in providing actionable insights in support to accelerate Cigna’s competitive advantage through thoughtful improvements and differentiation in the provider’s experience. The Sr. Manager of transactional Voice of Provider will lead all the voice of provider (VoP) programs including provider feedback, data interpretation, improvement recommendations and monitoring short and long-term change.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Function as the liaison between Provider Engagement and cross functional technology departments like Digital Product & Solutions, User Experience, eviCore and Evernorth Health Services
- Manages the team responsible for our department operations, this includes monitoring forecasted hours, capacity, project prioritization, portfolio management and department budget. Escalates concerns and provides recommendations.
- Works with key cross functional stakeholders to log and monitor technical debt and impact to provider experience.
- Ensure operational readiness within Provider Engagement teams – Provider Relations, Provider Call and Provider Communications, for all technical enhancements/ changes/ new deployment activities.
- In partnership with Business Operations, furnishes reports and other required documentation, tracking progress and communicating risks to timelines and delivery with all required partners. Makes and delivers presentations to senior leadership communicated progress.
- Constantly monitors and evaluates provider adoption needs and risks across the enterprise.
- Uses best practices in applying change management resources and tools, translating data and insights into prioritized activities for the organization.
- Leveraging strong project management skills to monitor implementation and achieve successful outcomes across multiple projects.
- Plays a crucial role in supporting the development & facilitation of key externally facing advisory or council functions with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining effective relationships, identifying and being responsive to established priorities, and supporting preparation for & execution of successful meetings and events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, health-related field is preferred
- Minimum of 8 years healthcare experience with progressive roles in managing program performance, launching large-scale and heavily matrixed initiatives in operations, or operating effectiveness, including the leadership of successful program or project implementation
- Proven knowledge and use of intake and prioritization processes, scope, portfolio, and vendor management
- Five or more years of people management, preferably managing resources aligned to data management, KPI development and analysis.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration, value other perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
- Ability to manage tactical delivery while balancing to the strategic vision.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills required.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills that result in conclusive recommendations.
- Ability to think critically with respect to improvement of end-to-end business process.
- Extensive experience working across multiple departments in a matrix environment; proven matrix management skills.
- Proven history of use and deep understanding of project management tools and approaches
- Experience working in an Agile environment preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS PREFFERED:
- Prsoci Change Management certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher level training)
- Project Management Professional certification
