Pool Bartender (Seasonal)

The Pool Bartender is responsible for mixing, serving, and offering recommendations on drinks to members and guests. This position requires a focus on courtesy, as well as efficiency for our members and team. Applicants must be able to work consistently from mid-May to mid-September including holidays and weekends.

This position is open on Memorial Day weekend (May 25^th) and closes on Labor Day (September 2^nd). New Hire Orientation will be May 18^th, 2024. Please keep in mind some night, weekend, and holiday shifts will be required throughout the summer and we are looking for individuals who will be able to work the full summer season.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and their guests while making adjustments and recommendations accordingly
• Ensuring bar station is fully stocked and clean
• Ringing up charges for members’ beverages throughout the day
• Informing supervisors of any major incidents as quickly as possible
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of various mixed drinks and alternatives to varying alcohol/allergy options
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
• Requires repetitive movement, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects and tools
• Requires standing, walking, and/or bending for long periods throughout the shift in the pool area
• Lifting 25 lbs or up to 50 lbs at time
• 1 year of Bartending experience preferred
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members
