ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new or modified processes for the Backend single probe bonding process, assembly and testing processes.
- Operating equipment to execute backend processes and write working instructions and do production training.
- Design and execute DOE.
- Use metrology tools to quantify experimental results.
- Analyze data statistically, write reports, and present results.
- Define, specify, evaluate and implement new processing equipment and new materials.
- Characterize processes to understand sources of variation and improve yield and cycle time.
- Coordinate and execute problem solving efforts, hands on troubleshooting of module-level and integrated process, and equipment issues.
- Develop and qualify final metrology steps/OQA procedures to meet customer IQA requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- BS degree+5 year experience or MS+2 year experience or Ph.D in Engineering or Science.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment and follow safety procedures.
- Fast learner of new equipment and processes required to execute duties.
- 3+ year research experience in backend processes is preferred.
- Broad knowledge of electronic packing, MEMS and metrology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) using JMP or equivalent software, Design of Experiments (DOE), quality and continuous improvement methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and consistently deliver high quality output.
The pay range for this role inBaldwin Park, CA is between $81,400 and$106,890. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactormaintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.
