Cleveland Clinic is looking to add new Caregiver to their dedicated team. As a part of Cleveland Clinic's family, you will independently perform diagnosis, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance on ultrasound equipment, and portable/fixed x-ray rooms, and mammography equipment. Individually support assigned systems with very minimal vendor support.

Responsibilities:
- Provides engineering support, preventative maintenance, evaluation of equipment, computer software and instrumentation for assigned areas.
- Maintains documentation of equipment, inventory, maintenance agreement, service and repair logs.
- Coordinates computer software upgrades and new purchases of clinical computer systems for the Electrophysiology Labs.
- May lead projects and initiatives within assigned work group.
- Creates, modifies or customizes systems, components and mountings to support clinical operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
Certifications:
- Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) preferred.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Three years CCF medical equipment, bench and field repair experience or five years outside experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Typical physical demands include ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use tools and work on small mechanical parts.
- Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish between colors used for wire color coding and read finely printed blueprints and schematics.

- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
