JOB SUMMARY
As the Director of Client Services, you play a pivotal role in providing leadership, administrative oversight, program development, implementation, and evaluation for an assigned portfolio of clients and Client Services staff. Working directly with assigned clients, you are accountable for ensuring the overall success, growth, retention, client satisfaction, and strategic planning of these accounts. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing key functions, including Client Management Relations, Client Contracting & Network Development, overall P&L, and Financial Performance for the client account. You will also collaborate with the Clinical Operations team to ensure success in the components we are contracted for. As a leader on the Client Services team, this position involves assisting and collaborating with colleagues across the organization to achieve organizational goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Client Management Team to achieve identified measurable goals for membership, income, and service.
- Actively partner with other operational areas, including Finance, Quality, Case Management, Risk Adjustment, and IT/Analytics, to support clients and achieve operational goals.
- Provide effective leadership, strategic direction, and business planning for assigned accounts, ensuring commitments are delivered on time.
- Articulate a clear vision of success for the client, both internally and with the client, while continuously measuring performance.
- Analyze client data to identify opportunities for improvement within existing lines of business.
- Work with the client, internal partners, and external payers to identify new opportunities to drive membership growth and profitability.
- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives statewide during but not limited to the Annual Enrollment Period.
- Lead regular client meetings to support client success including practice meetings, JOCs and Board meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with key client leaders, physicians, and staff.
- Champion and support process improvement initiatives to meet client requirements.
- Take responsibility for team planning and budgets.
- Regularly interact with Senior Management or executive levels regarding the state of the account.
- Interact with providers, vendors, members, regulators, and other external organizations and individuals in a manner that ensures a positive customer experience with Innovista.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, including health care services, managed care, or consulting, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience with delegated commercial models.
- Knowledge of process improvement, population health, and health systems planning.
- A minimum of 3 years of responsible leadership experiences in management positions is preferred.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate analytic skills when problem-solving.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications and can learn department and job-specific software systems.
- Demonstrate close attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Able to commit to Innovista's corporate mission and values.
- Able to switch priorities positively and effectively when directed by Company leadership.
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle required. Ability to travel at least 30% for client meetings within the state required.
