As a Storekeeper 1, you will supervise and manage the overall operation of the warehousing department by reviewing and processing storeroom requisitions utilizing SAP software. In this position, you will check all items received for compliance with specifications and hospital policies and verify that all items are placed in proper storage areas by using sound inventory management procedures. Your duties will include setting the parameters for reorder point and reorder level for each item in inventory, utilizing historical data and creating requisitions for replenishment of inventory, so there are no lapses of available supplies. You will also maintain the warehousing department inventory, adding and deleting items and notifying hospital staff as changes are made.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of experience in stores control work, including one year of supervisory experience with responsibility for the operation of a small storeroom; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a high school or vocational school; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
