Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a dynamic, innovative, and engaging MATH / SCIENCE TEACHER with great classroom management skills for our middle school campus in Chatsworth, California. Chaminade’s math program includes grades 6-8 math, pre-algebra, and high school level Algebra 1 and geometry. Chaminade’s science program includes Earth and Space Science (grade 6), Life Science (grade 7), and Physical Science (grade 8). The successful candidate will teach five classes with the majority of the classes being math.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching math and science at the secondary level and skilled at working with middle-school aged students.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. A single-subject math credential and/or science credential is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience, especially in a Catholic educational setting, is preferred; however, relevant experience in the STEM or education field is also strongly considered.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
