The New Employee Experience (NEE) department is responsible for designing and delivering programming, processes, and resources that provide exceptional onboarding and first year experiences to MITRE’s new employees. This involves pre-hire logistics and new employee support, a robust website with resources and training for new employees and hiring teams and facilitating engaging new employee orientation and other programs that immerse new employees in MITRE’s culture, innovation and business and help them build relationships with colleagues.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Facilitate McLean New Employee Orientation
Facilitate presentations/discussions on MITRE’s strategy, culture, business, operations, and people programs.
Moderate a discussion between a MITRE Sr. Leader Speaker and new employees.
Facilitate new employee networking to build rapport amongst the cohort.
Conduct Campus tour.
Manage new employee program registration, event communications and logistics.
Create New Employee Experience (NEE) event surveys in Microsoft Forms.
Manage the NEE in-person Laboratory Tour program.
Provide facilitation and logistics support to other new employee learning programs.
Collaborate with NEE Partners to problem solve new employee issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
1+ years of experience in new employee onboarding or learning and development.
1+ years of experience facilitating new employee orientation or learning programs.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain rapport with new people.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience creating surveys in Microsoft Forms
Excellent communications skills
Astute attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and follow-through
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to learn new systems, processes, and procedures quickly experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating surveys in Microsoft Forms
Experience with Workday platform.
Experience with the Aventri event management platform.
Experience with digital onboarding programs.
Able to learn new systems, processes, and procedures quickly experience.
