Financial Planning Analyst, Mid
Key Role:
Serve as an internal business finance partner. Work with account leads to drive and consolidate strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and planning within the group finance function. Lead cross-organization collaboration efforts as they relate to financial analysis, forecasting, planning, and risk management. Work in a highly visible role with a span of control that touches upon current financial performance, group annual and multi-year planning, long term market dynamics, business development pipeline, Labor and Expense management, rate management, key contract dynamics, cash flow, Strategic and IRD investments, and coordination of information flow within the Finance organization and corporate partners. Ensure internal leaders understand rate and budgeted issues. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with financial planning, reporting, and analysis
Experience with supporting the execution of strategic initiatives and tactical matters as they relate to the annual plan, budget management, rate management, cost-benefit analytics, forecasting, planning, or risk adjudication
Experience with reviewing and consolidating financial analysis, forecasting, and planning completed across the group finance function and working with FP&A leaders to build financial presentations that effectively communicate the narrative behind the data
Experience with supporting internal clients and business leaders in the Professional Services Industry
Ability to analyze data and present themes and go-forward recommendations to various levels of executive leadership
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with financial business operations or corporate finance
Experience with analyzing data with business intelligence software, including Tableau
Experience with Costpoint
Experience with Essbase or Smart View
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
