The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.
Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources. This position will support the Human Resource function by providing a warm greeting and environment for all associates in the hotel, assist in all areas of the division, and maintain a positive helpful working environment for our associates.
The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is a true outdoor recreation, entertainment and culinary destination paying homage to the heritage and modern progress of the city. With 605 guest rooms and suites, the luxury hotel showcases views of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline with 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space, sports bar, specialty restaurant, coffee shop and a retail venue.
Responsibilities
Professionally and warmly meet and greet all guests to ASC
Provide administrative support to HR Director and HR leadership
Assist with the recruitment process to include data input for applicants, preparing interview packets, and various outreach initiatives
Assist with processing of new hire paperwork
Maintain department logs, binders, and employee files
Develop associate communications network within the hotel via monthly training calendar, bulletin boards, posters, and flyers.
Enter and maintain all associate data into UltiPro (HRIS).
Answer phones and email inquiries. Type memos and other correspondence.
Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment.
Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department.
Champions Omni culture on property, and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and company.
Facilitates a culture of praise and recognition by assisting with the implementation of various employee recognition programs and community engagement opportunities.
Lead the Hotel Onboarding Program.
Collect, sort, and distribute office mail.
Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Main support to Human Resources leadership team.
Oversee compliance tracking efforts and LMS System.
Coordinate hotels trainings as needed
Run and generate complex reports in Ultipro.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-year human resources experience strongly preferred.
College Degree strongly preferred, preferably in hospitality or human resources management.
The ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignment.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing at a high level with guests, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
Must have strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Internet research, and the ability to quickly learn new software.
Must be able to work independently and successfully complete projects with minimal oversight.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively with a strong attention to detail.
Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, guest service and teamwork.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and create a welcoming environment for potential and current associates.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing telephone/computer for an extended period or for an entire shift.
