Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Human Resources area, providing administrative support to the human resources department. Assist with recruitment, reporting, record maintenance, and processing of temporary, hourly and salary payroll processing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources and management team.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, policies, benefits, and attendance.
- Process payroll by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
- Plan, coordinate and conduct employee new hire orientation and assign photo id badges.
- Build relationships with external staffing agencies to recruit for hourly roles.
- Preparing and running data-driven reports, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Enters purchase orders in IQMS to purchase employee uniforms, stocks uniforms, and distributes to new hires
- Serves on the Employee Activities Committee
Education/ Previous Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Must be able to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and high levels of discretion and sensitivity.
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with HR software.
- Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Process-driven; proven analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work autonomously and in team environment
